It's been a while. Hope you had a good Xmas & thanks for posting this. We pay our own health ins, and next year it's going to be higher than the mortgage. (Ouch.) So this is nice to hear, who knows, it may help.

Good to hear from you Tom. I share your concern since we too pay our premiums out of pocket. Like the Social Security of 1935, the Affordable Care Act of 2010 doesn't solve the problem it's meant to address in one stroke. But it does move health care front and center and should create interests groups to mobilize citizens to demand more. Witness the formation AARP and the so-called gray lobby since the enactment of Social Security and Medicare.
